Robert is in his 26th year of practicing law in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he has represented people from all different income levels, ethnicities and race, in the Justice Courts, Municipal Courts, District Courts, Family Court, and the Nevada Supreme Court.
This has helped Robert to have a good understanding of the judicial system and its effect on and involvement with everyone involved as he has been in the trenches.
Robert has given back to his community by being involved with youth sports, scouting and other events and activities. Robert KURTH has JUDICIAL EXPERIENCE as Robert first started serving as an ARBITRATOR for the eighth judicial district court in 2001, and also served as an Alternate Child Support Hearing Master, and Small Claims Court Referee.
Robert KURTH is running for Justice of the Peace because he believes the community needs a Judge, who will LISTEN to your concerns, RESPECT your rights, PROTECT OUR FAMILIES, and ENFORCE the Constitution and the laws of the State of Nevada. It is Robert’s goal to make the judicial system more efficient and one that our Founders envisioned. Moreover, Robert KURTH has the EXPERIENCE, INTEGRITY, DEMEANOR, FAIRNESS and COMMON SENSE necessary to be our Justice of the Peace, and will be fair in doling out justice for all those involved, while following the rule of law, as he will make informed decisions after carefully considering the facts and the law.
Robert KURTH grew up in a blue collar construction family where he worked for Steel Engineers, Inc.
Robert KURTH has been an Assistant Scoutmaster/Venturing Crew Assoc. Advisor/Merit Badge Counselor/Webelos Leader; former instructor in the Trial by Peers program; former Student Editor of the Family Law Quarterly while in law school; former President of the Sagebrush Youth Soccer League; National “D” licensed soccer coach and coached in Sagebrush, Silver State Girls Soccer League, Nevada South and HUYS; former coach in the Clark County Middle School Football and Nevada Youth Football League; advisor for high school mock trial competition; Teen Parents and the Law Conference Instructor (sponsored by the State Bar of Nevada and the Clark County School District in December 1998); former member of the Nevada American Inn of Court; assistant wrestling coach for Gorman High School in 1995-96; and is actively involved in Church and its leadership programs.

Robert KURTH grew up in the Las Vegas valley in a working class family and has had numerous life experiences that have shaped his demeanor.
Robert has been married for more than 31 years, and has four children; three of whom have graduated from college, and his youngest daughter is currently attending college. Robert has three dogs and a cat.
Robert’s grandmother retired from the culinary union local 226 and Robert, his father, brother and uncle were former members of the Ironworkers Local 416. Robert’s son is also a member of the LVPPA.
