About Robert

Robert KURTH is a candidate for Justice of the Peace (“Judge”), Las Vegas Township, Dept. 5

I am running for Justice of the Peace (“Judge”), because I believe the community needs a Judge, who will be TOUGH on crime, RESPECT our rights, PROTECT our families, and ENFORCE the Constitution and the laws of the State of Nevada.

I received my law degree (“J.D.”) from the UNIVERSITY OF DENVER COLLEGE OF LAW, December 1991; my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UNLV, May 1989; and attended BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY from 1985-1986.

I will bring common sense and the experience of running my own law practice for almost 20 years to the bench.  Moreover, I have had a varied, general practice, where I have worked for all types of people from various races, ethnicities, religions, economic circumstances and backgrounds, and understand what they are going through when they are in the judicial system.  This has helped me to have a good understanding of the judicial system and its effect on and involvement with law enforcement, prosecutors, defense attorneys, defendants, witnesses, litigants and victims, as I have been in the trenches.

I currently serve as an Arbitrator for the Eighth Judicial District Court, and previously served as an Alternate Child Support Hearing Master and Small Claims Court Referee.  I will expedite the judicial process so everyone can have their day in court, and will render decisions that are fair and just, while following the rule of law in doling out justice for all those involved.  Additionally, I have the common sense, Experience, Integrity, Demeanor and Fairness necessary to be our Justice Court Judge, and will be fair in doling out justice for all those involved, while following the rule of law.
